The founder of GLYKÓS EVODIA. As an experienced candlemaker and perfumer, my work is guided by a love of creating fragrances that move beyond aroma to become experiences, emotions, and lasting memories.
Alongside my creative practice, I am an aspiring occupational therapist exploring the role of fragrance as a sensory stimulus. My academic focus draws on sensory processing theory, which highlights the influence of olfactory input on arousal, mood, and attention, and on reminiscence approaches, where familiar scents can support memory recall, orientation, and emotional connection. This understanding shapes the way I design every aspect of GLYKÓS EVODIA, combining creativity with evidence-based insights.
Each perfume bar, bridesmaid box, and candle bouquet is created with intention and care. Fragrance becomes more than a detail. It becomes a meaningful part of memory-making. My commitment is to craft experiences that feel timeless, personal, and unforgettable.

OUR STORY
Our story began in October 2020 with a quiet yet life changing moment. While in the shower, I heard the Holy Spirit tell me to start a home fragrance business. At the time, I knew nothing about creating candles or fragrances, but I chose to trust that still small voice. I ordered a few supplies, began experimenting, and slowly learned the art of fragrance from scratch.
By February 2021, I was searching for the perfect name for the brand when a conversation with a friend led us to 2 Corinthians 2:14–15, which speaks about being the sweet fragrance of Christ. In that moment, I said, “I can call it Sweet Fragrance.” But I wanted something more refined, something that carried both meaning and elegance. We decided to translate it into Greek, inspired by the language of the New Testament. That is how Glykos Evodia, which means Sweet Fragrance, was born.
The business officially launched in March 2021, beginning with home fragrance products such as candles, reed diffusers, and room sprays. Our very first collection, Vanilla Infused, was simple but meaningful and it marked the beginning of a beautiful journey. In mid 2022, I went through a difficult personal season and took a step back, pausing the business through the end of 2023.
In 2024, I received a powerful prophecy about my business. I was holding flowers in one hand and bricks in the other. This vision birthed the Promise Collection, symbolising both beauty and foundation. By 2025, everything shifted. We stepped boldly into the event and gifting space, focusing on custom orders, luxury gift favours, and our signature Perfume Bar experience.
Through every season, our hope remains anchored in Yeshua. Glykos Evodia is not just a business. It is a story of faith, obedience, and craftsmanship. What began as a whispered instruction has grown into a creative expression that carries both beauty and purpose, a sweet fragrance that lingers.
